American Aritist Magazine 2004, '07

The March 2004 issue of American Artist contains an article I was asked to write because I often combine the skills of painting from life with elements derived directly from my imagination.  Integrating Observation and Imagination explores the how and why.

Then Chief Editor, Stephen Doherty, wrote the aritcle in the September 2007 issue of  American Artist about my solo exhibition at the Butler Institute of American Art.  Urban Archaeology (above left) was one of the 21 paintings included in the show and appeared in the article along  with Into the Mystic (left), also in the exhibit.
